Thursday, 9/14 10:00a - 11:30 a EST - "Manage & Reduce (not a misprint) Your Unemployment Costs - Including Overhead!

In June 2017, the Bureau of Labor Statistics provided a News Release highlighting Employer Costs for Employee Compensation – March 2017. In this Release, it was noted that the Average Total Compensation in private industry was $33.11 per Employee per Hour. Of that amount, $10.06 was the cost of Benefits alone! Of the $33.11, $0.18 (.54%) is being paid by the Employer for State Unemployment Insurance. That may not seem like much – but consider if you have 20 Employees that work 40 hours per week and used this average. The amount in State Unemployment (on average) you would be paying is $7,488 per year.

Step outside of the actual tax costs and consider the administrative burden! Responding to paperwork timely to avoid penalty fees, making sure you are not being charged another Business’ costs (it does happen!), attending hearings, etc.

You can reduce these costs!

Our Free Webinar will discuss:

– What can Impact Your Unemployment Rate
– How Unemployment Rates are Calculated
– Mistakes States Make
– How to Manage Your Rate

Paytime is honored to have Tim Rooney, President of Corporate Cost Control, present information on understanding and controlling Employer Unemployment Costs. You will leave this Webinar with a cost-effective solution that will yield a tremendous Return on Investment (ROI).

Tuesday, 11/21 1:30p – 3:00p EST - "Using Your Workforce Management System Reporting: From Transactional to Strategic" (1.5 Credits)

Workforce Management Systems are designed to remove the mundane transactional (yet necessary) tasks of Human Capital Management.  This efficiency will “free up” Payroll and Human Resources to provide a more strategic role for your business.  Managers can be trained to use reporting, analytics and metrics to work strategically, increasing the productivity of their Departments.  Employees can be trained to better understand how their Paycheck works, taxation, etc. and mitigate that “my paycheck was wrong” angst.  Scheduling Reports can be viewed to include overlaps to minimize costs and over-staffing. Instead of reacting to issues and cost concerns – be active in preventing.  Productivity increases, turnover decreases.

You have hired the best professionals – USE THEM!  Workforce Management Systems are inherently collaborative – Payroll and Human Resources can get together and COLLABORATE!  Payroll and Human Resource Professionals can provide the tools to make better deciisions about the Company’s greatest and most valuable asset – the Employees.  The VALUE of the Payroll and Human Resources Teams will become inherent in any corporate personnel decision.

Our Free Webinar will discuss:

  • Overview of the transactional
  • Overview of the strategic
  • Moving from transactional to strategic
  • Return-On-Investment

Our Co-Presenter for this Webinar is Katie Westenberger, PHR, SHRM-CP, HCM Product & Training Specialist at Paytime, Inc.
